You don't have to be sure. You just have to be curious.

Is surgery right for you?

You notice it getting dressed. Breasts that sit lower than they used to. Fullness that left after pregnancy, nursing, or weight loss. Nipples that point down now. A bra doing all the work, and certain clothes quietly retired because of how they fit.

If any of that is you, here's what you can't know from a webpage: whether what you're seeing needs a lift, an implant, or both. A consultation with Dr. Schimpf determines which one, or both, matches the outcome you want.

What Surgery Does and Doesn't

What it does

  • You get your shape back.A lift raises and reshapes breasts that have settled with time, weight change, or pregnancy.
  • You get your fullness back.An implant restores the volume those same years took.
  • You get a result that fits your frame. The plan is built around your proportions, not a size on a shelf.

Many patients need only one of these. Some combine them. The consultation is where you find out which restores what you're missing.

What You Don't Have To Worry About

  • Looking overdone.A natural, proportionate result is the goal of every plan, and Dr. Schimpf will tell you plainly if what you're asking for would read as obvious.
  • Ending up too big.The size conversation is a real one, with your input at every step.
  • Looking like someone else. The aim is you, restored.
  • Being talked into more than you came for.If one procedure does the job, that's the recommendation.

Recovery

What recovery is really like.

Most patients return to desk work within about a week and to full exercise in four to six weeks. There is swelling and soreness, and the final shape continues to refine over the following weeks and months. Dr. Schimpf will walk you through the realistic timeline for your specific plan.
